Lore & Background

During the Old War, Natah was created by the Orokin as a Sentient mimic, designed to infiltrate and destroy the Tenno. However, she defected, taking on the identity of the Lotus to guide the Tenno instead. Her greatest act was not a Void sacrifice, but a rebellion against her creators and her own kind. She hid the Tenno in the Void during the Old War, and later emerged as their guide. In The New War, she was subsumed by Ballas but ultimately restored, continuing as the Lotus. Her history is one of redemption and identity, not death or ascension. The guidance she provides is rooted in her choice to protect the warriors she was meant to destroy.

In Their Own Story

The Void hummed with a sound like broken glass singing in a windstorm. Natah stood before the fissure, her white robes fluttering despite the absence of air. Behind her, the fleet waited, unaware that their salvation required a price only she could pay. She did not hesitate. The energy surged through her veins, cold and ancient. As the light consumed her, she did not feel fear, only purpose. Her final thought was not for herself, but for the children sleeping in stasis within the ships behind her. She became the lock, and the Void became the key.
